Fact Checking

• Checking the accuracy of facts, citations, and quotes by referring to the original sources or to other authoritative sources

Copy Editing

• Ensure the material is correct, accurate, consistent, and complete
• Correct errors in grammar, spelling, and usage
• Identify and either correct or query information that should be fact-checked (e.g., names, places, dates, calculations, visual elements)
